Consider/Approve Amendments to the Respective FY09 School Budgets

Preliminary Matters:

Resolutions are attached to amend the General Purpose School, School Federal Projects, and Central Cafeteria Funds for the Fiscal Year Ending June 30, 2009. All of the amendments are within budgeted categories and only school board approval is necessary. These are routine, year-end amendments to bring actual expenditures within budgeted line item appropriations. Although these budget amendments are not technically required, sound accounting practices would dictate that such amendments be presented to the Board for approval. The resolutions for the amendments can be accessed as follows:

General Purpose School Fund (detail separate)
School Federal Projects Fund (Title I, Title IV, Carl Perkins)
Central Cafeteria Fund

Staff Recommendation:

I recommend approval of the amendments to the 2008 – 2009 fiscal year budgets for the General Purpose School, School Federal Projects, and Central Cafeteria Funds.
